frequently asked questions
Q. Will you need to or want to photograph the work site or manufacturing facilities?
A. The photo project won’t involve documenting the equipment or facilities. It solely focuses on the workers and players in the wind industry which is, in my opinion, helping to shape and re-power America’s energy future.
Q. If we agree to have you visit our facilities, will employees have to participate?
A. Participation is entirely voluntary. Your employees can choose to participate if they like. Everyone will get copies of their photos and will have access to their files for social media (linkedin, etc.) In order for me to publish the photos, I will have to have folks sign a model release.
Q. We're a busy facility, and production can't really be stopped for photography. Will you have a lot of equipment and take a lot of time?
A. The photo equipment setup is incredibly small, and could fit in the corner of a break room, or a small conference room. Each portrait will take less than 3-4 minutes. If it's more convenient, I can set-up during lunch hour, or shift change.
Q. Is there are charge for having photos taken?
A. The project comes at no cost to you. I’m traveling around the country on my own, making portraits as a personal project because I respect and admire the people involved in the wind industry.
